As part of its training programme in ultrasound-guided local anaesthesia in low-resource countries, ADRALE congratulates Dr Ismael GUIBLA 🏅 from Ouagadougou (Burkina-Faso) and Dr Shabani MAJALIWA 🏅 from Mopti (Mali) for their very high-level scientific publications.
They are respectively authors of a very nice paper 📝 :
📚on analgesia with loco-regional anaesthesia after caesarean section, compared with the current standard in a randomised controlled trial.
📚on a very fine study of war wounded🩼, in low-resource environments.
📚And on a new block in Loco regional anaesthesia of the lower limb.
These 3 studies appropriate the very latest LRA techniques by pragmatically adapting them to ‘their reality’ in the field and giving their patients the benefit of the gold-standard of northern countries.
These 2 authors have taken part in the train-the-trainer programme 🌍 as expert referents and facilitating doctors at several sessions in West Africa, and have become veritable ambassadors 🩺 for training other ALR trainers in their turn.
In the same vein, ADRALE is looking for donations in kind 💉 (consumables, ALR needles, local anaesthetic products) or in cash 💰 to support 4 studies in Togo and 2 studies in Burkina, which cannot begin due to a lack of equipment.
💡You can contact Dr #XavierRaingeval directly at adrale.jouvenet@gmail.com and make a donation to ADRALE or via #lachainedelespoir specifying the programme supported!
Well done to these 2 super practitioners 🙏
